Cancellation Policy

Alison Muir is committed to providing all of her patients with exceptional care. When a patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another patient from being seen.
Please call us on 0754742599 by 3:00 p.m. on the day prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations. To cancel a Tuesday appointment, please call our office by 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
If prior notification is not given a cancellation fee of 50% will be billed to you and is not covered by Medicare, Private Health funds or third party payers (eg Workcover) i.e you must pay the fee yourself. Cancellation fees can be paid off over time or we take your payment over the phone via credit card, or you can pay when you come in for your next appointment.
Repeated cancellations may result in a fee of 100% of the session cost or your discharge from the service.
As a courtesy, Alison sends confirmation reminders of your appointment via SMS, to your mobile phone. However, sometimes technology is not very reliable and you may not receive your SMS reminder. Because of this, you are encouraged to keep a record of your appointments elsewhere, as cancellation fees still apply even if you do not receive your SMS reminder.
